Say YES to adventure with Ana & Eric! Join us as we celebrate our love in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro
Who is Eric?
Eric grew up on a small island called Manhattan, but not even the most cosmopolitan city in world could satisfy the worldly appetites of this restless wanderer. His attraction to all things exotic drove him to every corner of the earth, including Kenya and Uganda where he spent 4 years. As a boy Eric dreamed of becoming a businessman like his Dad and enjoyed care-free summers in White Plains. But that's about as plain as he gets. Eric loves different languages, new cultures and experiences and most of all building technology to improve the world. When he isn't starting, advising or selling startup companies, he enjoys a game of Settlers of Catan or an Olympic Triathlon. Eric teaches a technology product class at Columbia University's International Affairs Masters Program, and is currently working on a mobile product that will improve cash flow management among American workers.
Who is Ana?
Ana was born in Yugoslavia, a country that no longer exists. As a girl Ana dreamed of becoming a news anchor and loved swimming, drawing and writing fables. Ana was always an artistic soul but her Dad wanted her to become a lawyer since she enjoyed arguing with him very much. Unwillingly, Ana went to Law School and then Diplomacy School, and ended up working as a consultant at the United Nations. Frustrated with her inability to make any difference whatsoever by writing research papers and running econometric analysis, she decided to pursue her passion of becoming an artist. She got her Masters in Communications Design at Pratt Institute. She is now proudly enjoying her dream job -- Associate Creative Director at the greatest Ad Agency in the world, GREY. And practicing more yoga than you can imagine.
How did they meet?
Only the two of them know for sure. If you come to the wedding they might tell you. Urban legend has it that Ana spilled her skim decaf cappuccino all over one handsome gentlemen at Eataly on a warm afternoon in August. When they locked eyes the air suddenly changed. That gentleman was Eric. Eric took Ana to the dry cleaner on their first date. He wouldn't have some random person spilling cappuccino all over the Eton shirt he just received via trunk club. Some sources claim that Eataly is a complete misinterpretation and that Ana & Eric actually met in Italy. Eric was there having mistakenly assumed that he can practice his Spanish on Spanish steps in Rome, and Ana was there because of espresso. Duh.
